Duly Noted
Noted this past week:
I have never put my gloves in the glove compartment of a car.
When I use mouthwash, my nose gets runny.
Being a mother means having your heart in many different places.
There are days I can walk by the empty beer cases in the laundry room and ignore them.
If I had to choose between television or music, the choice would be music. No hesitation.
I am capable of living with an ominous dripping sound in the north wall of my house and doing nothing about it. (For now.)
The fashion maxim that states get rid of clothes you haven’t worn in over a year? I’m incapable of doing that. (Snuck a sweater out of the bag for Goodwill.)
The word “no” – both in my vocabulary and actions – has increased in usage.
I will tell a perfect stranger they have the size tag still attached to the back of their jeans. (I wish people would return the favour.)
Always learning….

I love it when you do posts like this -- ordinary, random bits of mindfulness...seeing and observing. #1 just cracks me up -- WHY is it called a "glove box"??
Is it a roof leak or a pipe leak?
yeah that and the tags that stick up out of someone's collar . . . gah! I will mention it to them and sometimes even go so far as to pop it back down for them too . . . just because I'm helpful that way.
Observations. Neat. I had no idea you drank that much beer. (Just kidding.) I once had a long piece of toilet paper sticking out of the back of my pants and nobody told me. I was FURIOUS when I got home. Too bad you weren't in the vicinity that day.
I also tell people if their tags are hanging out!
Always learning - is great :)
I told a cop the other day that he had a booger in his nose that he might want to take care of . . .
Great list!
I rule at getting rid of clothes...indeed I am kind of too good at it....
indeed, I am itching to get at my cupboard again...

Life is full of the ordinary and the random - amazing how some days I'm "mindful" of it and others not!
guy:
I don't know - afraid to find out - hence my procrastination - which I will ultimately regret. (I'm really afraid it is a pipe.)
trish:
I once went out with one of those long sticky size things on the back leg of my jeans - wish you'd been around!
the bodhi chicklet:
Yes, I would have told you - laughed first but I'd have told you!
(I don't drink beer!)
casdok:
The "always learning" - it never ends. Some of it's good and some of it's bad but it's all eventually worthwhile.

So...when you're in TO again - wanna tackle mine? It would pose a major challenge. And I would let you "rule."
Bahaha! Love it! Once I walked around for almost an entire day with my shirt inside out before I noticed. Sure wish someone had mentioned it...
i almost always tell people if their tag is showing. have actually met some nice people this way (such as them sitting at the next table at dinner).
there is no limit what i keep in my glovebox. as long as it fits. gloves, tools, pencil, paper, maps, gum, receipts, cookies, books etc.
i wish the people with properly tucked tags would return the favor and clean out my glove box!
WHAT!!! You blogging again and didn't tell me?
I have actually noticed how much better I'm getting at the NO thing as 40 recedes into the past.
I love giving clothes away (and my closet space is limited). BTW, did I tell you about the cool clothes I got at Distill in Toronto?
Music, without a doubt.
I've never really thought about why we call it a "glove" compartment. Thanks for drawing my attention to this misnomer.
Yes but do you tell them when their dress is stuck in their panty hose and the ass gasket (seat cover) is stuck in there too? Not that I would know anything about this or anything because that would be downright embarrassing.
I never thought about it before, but....I've never put gloves in a glove compartment either. What a very fun post.
