I’m heading to the cottage today and will be away for just over a week.
While I’ll be taking my trusty laptop with me, I doubt I’ll be doing much blogging. The Internet connection up there is just too frustrating.
E-mail’s fine (with no attachments!) but checking blogs takes forever – too many images.
(Honestly, though, what are the odds I don’t occasionally check in?)
But I don’t want to be spending valuable family/cottage time ranting at my computer. My sisters will be at their cottages and my Mom and some of our “kids” will be up.
I have some decisions to make while I’m there – one of which is my future vis-à-vis the cottage itself. Twenty years is a lot to give up.
So, I’ll be swimming, sunbathing (yes, with a hat and sun lotion), reading, eating, laughing (and loving) with family - and thinking.
I’m actually kind of tired of thinking about various issues and matters – but at least I’ll be in a wonderful place to do it.
Hope everyone has a great week.
I’m planning to – come hell or high water.
