Ha! I find this quotation quite amusing - and not because I am cynical, world-weary or disillusioned. It just happens to tickle my fancy or my funny-bone or whatever.
But maybe I am a bit of a cynic? Why else would it hit a nerve?
Not to fret – while waiting to hook up with my dreams I’ll gather some rosebuds while I may (although I’ll have to steal from my neighbour’s garden), won’t cry over spilt milk (although I’ve been known to swear when that happens) and will refrain from putting all my eggs in one basket (they’re likely to break – hate that).
And life is but a dream anyway, right?
My love affair with the English language continues…
I’ll be away for a few days – will be hooking up with one of my dreams!
