Among others received, the above bouquet was a gift.
Of course, being me, I questioned the “why” prompting these unexpected gifts and in doing so, received yet another one.
“Because you’re worth it.”
Well, come to think of it, yes I am. ;)
Although you know there are people in your life who believe in your worth and who demonstrate this by deed, how many actually verbalize it?
Such a lovely thing to hear.
All this - and it’s not even my birthday yet!

How lovely that you got those! It is nice to be appreciated, a reminder that we should try to verbalise our appreciation of those around us too.
Absolutely! You are so worth it!
I always take the praise and compliment, because they are sometimes hard to come by. So you should definitely feel good about the fact someone showed appreciation!
Although I can't help thinking that these flowers are a May 1st Labor Day present in France - closet Socialist? :-D
What a beautiful sentiment!
Wow! You're friends with L'Oreal? I'm impressed.
You're worth every grand gesture there is, Beth!
I hate to pour vinegar on your dessert, but isn't 'Because you're worth it" an advertising slogan?
nice to be loved, b :)
btw - that's my fave flower you got!
beautiful flowers
I'm sure it has to do with where I work because I'm always thinking of "motive." What is the motive behind the gift?
Yes you are! Enjoy them!
Cheers,
Robyn
I love lilies of the valley. Pleased to know that your awesomeness is appreciated.
Although i know they will take over my garden I am going to plant some Lily of the Valley. Aren't you lucky to be given some. Hope you had a great long weekend.
A 'just because' gift is the best kind!
Lilly of the Valley is so fragrant too! What a lovely gift :)
I'm worth it too, and I didn't get any flowers. ;)
They're lovely.
