And to all those who don’t celebrate Thanksgiving – you may have saved the life of a turkey.
I’m the hostess-with-the-mostess for this year’s family Thanksgiving dinner taking place Saturday night. Think of me as I do battle with the big bird. I’m not fond of handling those giblets/innards.
Oh, never mind…it’s not all about me.
It’s about being thankful for all the blessings in your life.
And I am.

Not handling gizzards and innards...girl, don't go fresh...go frozen!! :) they come in a little packet -- easy peasy to just toss in the trash!!
Those who don't celebrate Thanksgiving saved the life of a turkey!! lmbo!! Yes, they did!!
I cook the sucker and I don't even eat turkey!! But I do like the aroma of it cooking...everyone else eats it. I eat appetizers and wine; veggies and wine and dessert...and wine if there's any left in the bottle!!
To quote Arthur Carlson's famous line, "as God is my witness, I thought turkeys could fly!" -- my favourite Thanksgiving thought!!
Happy Turkey Day girlfriend. Don't knock yourself out in the kitchen, don't dribble the gravy and save room for dessert!!! ♥

Just last week I saw a turkey buzzard the size of a dog ontop of a roof. I slowed down my car to get a better look. Happy Thanksgiving.

I think I want to try and get dual citizenship - Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. If I were Canadian and American, oh boy, oh boy, oh boy.
Or I could just have turkey more often. That would make more sense.
