Update (sort of)

Crazy busy this week – all kinds of stuff – good and bad.

Many thanks for all your supportive comments on my post of April 23rd.

It is such a priviledge to have a cottage isn't it? Hope your son had a wonderful b-day :)

No black flies...
No flies in the ointment...
Fly away fly away home.....
And a mixed bag of busy-ness this week...
I'm glad your world is looking sunny!!

Yay! To all of it! There is something so peaceful about being in nature. Sometimes we resist going into nature because we are not ready to feel that. And then we do and we remember.

So glad you found your much needed "blue!" The absence of the black flies is an added bonus.

I hope your son had a great birthday.

I went back to your Thu post to check it out but thought I'd go ahead and comment here instead. I discovered that same song by accident; I'd downloaded it thinking it was something else and it languished on my ipod for months before it played. Beautiful song! VE highly approves of your musical taste...

i think everyone has a "box" inside of them. it contains things that makes us strong: our experiences, hopes, emotions and dreams.
sometimes the box feels empty.
the nice thing about "getting away" is it gives you time to refill the box again. you gain perspective, connect to what is important to you.
Wishing you courage and vitality.

Horrible flies.

I've been reading through your interesting blog. I agree, there's no such thing as writers' block. But sometimes, as writers, we take a break. That's OK and we shouldn't feel guilty. We don't have to write all the time. Am I protesting too much? OK, I admit, I haven't been doing any writing lately - I've been too busy trying to promote a book that's coming out in soon. You can read an extract of it on the Bookroast where I'd be interested to hear your comments.
