I’ve learned to do this – even if it’s simply enjoying coffee with a friend, a hug or moments of craziness and laughter. It makes the tough times bearable - and the good ones even better.

What an amazing quote Beth. I'm keeping this one for the day that I need to use it as part of the eulogy I will be giving. Celebrate life...the sorrow and the joy. Know which is which and remember that you can still find the happy within the sad.

If it wasn't for friends, I don't know where I would be. They have supported me through the nasties and been there for the good times. There has been a high light on being present these last years, recognizing, acknowledging and appreciating the good moments. So I say, Yes, Yes, Yes! to Mr. Vonnegut's observations.
