According to my youngest, who was at the cottage last weekend, those damned critters threw down their version of the gauntlet.
THEY POOPED ON MY PILLOW! This time, they have gone too far.
They may outnumber me but I am smarter. That should count for something.
And, yes, I will be missing Halloween night. So sad – both for the little ones around here and for me. No leftover candy.

I saw a mice outside the house today. Never seen one before in Canada... although we have plenty of rabbits, skunks etc around.
I'm not afraid of them at all but they are a nuisance.
Beth, you should leave plenty of mouse/rat bait out when you leave. They will eat it and die by an outside water source.
LMAO...I have this vision of the poop on your pillow!! I mean, the absolute nerve...YOUR pillow!!! Couldn't they have found someone else's pillow????? lol!!!

Enjoy -- bring your garbage pail lid as your shield (don't you remember doing that as a kid??).

Good luck with that, you're going to need it. I don't like them, but don't mind so much the thought of them running around while I'm not there. I hate the thought of them running over my face at night (there's a halloween thought for you). I use poison in the basement - ultimately where they come in, it keeps them down to a minimum and make sure the doors don't stay open any more than they have to. Let us know how it goes.
Have you ever seem Willard? lol....We purchased these plug ins that send out some sort of low frequency noise or something, it works really well. You should try it up there...

At our cabin, we place Bounce Dryer Sheets all over the place. They hate them. We haven't had a problem since (when we close up). No more towels or blankets chewed up or poop. I hope you win this one, I hate mice, they really give me the creeps.
