Photo Op

I got nuthin’.

Both mind and body are drifting elsewhere these days.

So, all you get is this photo for your viewing pleasure, amusement and/or consternation.

Yup, it’s me – about ten years ago.

Perhaps you’re wondering - is that the look she presented to the world back then?

I’ll leave you to it.

I’m either brave or crazy to have posted this picture.
I’m going with a bit of both.

I have a very similar photo of myself around here somewhere. Are those headphones around your neck? What were you listening to?

Biker Goth! Thanks for sharing. It would be cool to see a post of your changing look throughout the years.

Brave girl, I say!
More please....?

My first impression was, "Motorcycle Mamma"! I'm going with brave and little crazy. You could be a double for Madonna in that movie, "Desperately Seeking Susan".

P.S. Thanks for the encouraging words in your comment. It's nice to have our effort acknowledged!

I have my own ideas about what this photo was all about. But I've got to say -- I love the look. It's the hair I'm loving...I want to see you sneer like that on Wednesday!!!! "hot child in the city".....hee!!

And I think you are brave for posting this...post more like this. Please.

You can tell by the size of the headphones how dated this picture is!
I was probably listening to some classical music. ;)

Guy:
That would be amusing for you, humiliating for me!
Biker Goth, huh? I’m laughing...

Mary-Laure:
More?!! My “bravery” has its limits!

The Bodhi Chicklet:
Definitely a little crazy and “Mamma” is the key word here... ;)

(P.S. You’re welcome – all true.)

Sherry Lee:
This “hot child” will sneer for you next week – with pleasure – but I’ll probably get the giggles while doing it!

I had a shaved head thirteen years if that helps. With lots of black eyeliner minus a cape. Sinead O'Conner was a big influence once upon a time...

I think it's a great picture! I'll have to route around and find a couple of me from the 90s PVC days. Lord....

I think you should post a picture of yourself in those days! Are you brave (or crazy) enough?

Reeny:
Do it! But I think I just might prefer you in white... ;)

oops. I had a shaved hair thirteen YEARS ago not for 13 yrs. I'm brave. But not that brave! You look a little like Melissa Etheridge in that photo, I might add.

Oh, I give up. Another typo! "A shaved head" is how my last comment should read. & I haven't even had a glass of wine!

This is a brave photo posting, Beth. The woman in the photo looks brave too - with that "don't mess with me" swagger. I think we all have some of that woman inside of us. Cool that you took the chance to show that part of you off a little today.
Here's to being brave in the face of what scares us most!

I think that is an awesome picture! I've always wanted to cut my hair that short but never had the guts. You not only had the guts but made it work. Rock on Beth!

I know convicts who smile for their mugshots more than this picture, but I will say this, "You certainly have attitude."

So nice to 'see' you again. I would be scared to show a photo of me in my younger days, Mary Quant minis and a beehive very Carnaby Street! :0)

Beth, I love this picture. You look so cool, a person with her own style and comfortable in her own skin. I honestly think you look great. I wish I had the courage to cut my hair that short. My picture would look exactly the same. Sadly, I hear that all the time, how I haven't changed at all. I guess that makes me pretty boring. Some day I will just shock everyone!
Thanks for posting this.
