Farewell

Heading up to the cottage for awhile.

I’ve been looking forward to this for ages - family, friends, good times.

(And perhaps a certain someone will be celebrating a birthday by jumping in the lake??)

Stay well.

(The above image is of my eldest son and my mother fishing – a shared love. Click to enlarge it - I know they're barely visible. A certain someone is also a poor photographer.)

Oh well then, Happy Birthday! The phrase "go jump in the lake" has new meaning for me now. Be well. No, be much better than that. Be glorious.

What a delightful way to spend your birthday...enjoy, enjoy, enjoy...the family, the friends, the coolers, the lake...remember to take your photographs before you've had those coolers!!! :) And someone had better get a snap of you jumping in the late (love Kim's comment!!!).

Happy birthday to you!!! ♥

Have a very Happy Birthday and a wonderful time at the cottage. Let's raise a glass on our respective docks on Saturday night as the sun sets. I'll be jumping in for sure.

I'm assuming the snapper is no longer if you're planning a dip?

I hope you are much refreshed by this experience -- birthday dip in the lake and all.

Also hoping that you have a nice stack of books to take with you?

Enjoy your birthday and the lake! Fishing with friends at a cabin reads like a wonderful time. As long as it's not in Iowa. And not 100 degrees, that is. ;)

The cottage - how Canadian! ;)

Woohooo!!!

THAT sounds great. Glad the braces aren't too bad. I used to have a bar on the inside of my teeth, wish they had left it there, my teeth would be a whole lot straighter.

You'll get used to it soon.

You've been gone a long time, Beth.
