Ugh. I hate going to the dentist. Every time I go, I get a "lecture" on how to brush my teeth. Too much plague build-up in it after six months and they think you aren't brushing your teeth right. That reminds me I gotta make an appointment...:(
ooooo I hate the dentist too...why is that, aside from the intense invasion of personal space, pain, discomfort and horrific noise, all for about $250 a pop....?
That sounds like an intersting story. But you didn't say "And she lived happily ever after" at the end. Is that because she didn't get to take some morphine? ;)
Sorry about the visit to the dentist. Hope you feel better soon!
shari: The absolute worst kind of appointment to have to make. And I'm supposed to go every three months!
princess pointful: Warning - don't put it off much longer - you'll be sitting in that chair of torture for way too long...
oreneta: And why do they talk to you when you can't answer? Or is that the point?
patricia: Hey, does your dentist offer morphine!!?? Name, please. (glad my appointment wasn't wednesday morning...)
pavel: See Bec's comment! She's the exception to the rule.
bec: Boo. Hiss. And I don't mind the polishing - that indicates the whole procedure is coming to an end. But the scraping, the picking with sharp objects? Ugh.
Can you believe how sick I am, I love going to the dentist? He is so anal about not causing pain, and gentle, he slips these dark sun glasses on me and I have actually fallen asleep in the chair. It is sad when sitting in the dentist chair is a good time to relax and catch a nap. Hope you feel better soon!
sornie: Don't fret - has nothing to do with your manliness! We all have a gag reflex. I figure if they can't do the x-ray and get those damn things out FAST, they deserve to hear the gags - or worse.

Blargh.
I haven't been to the dentist in far too long-- the joys of a long time without coverage. I should really try to get an appointment soon. Boo.

Yuck!!! Nobody EVER likes going to the dentist. Sorry...
I actually like going to the dentist to get my teeth cleaned.
(Don't throw anything at me now. I can hear the "boos.")
I just find it very satisfying - all that scraping and polishing...

ooh, I hate the dentist too. I had a root canal a couple of years ago, and it hurt like hell!
Eat some advil, drink some vodka, and go to sleep! ;)
beth:
Love your prescription for pain, Doc!

And yet you somehow found the time to swing by with an encouraging comment. Fighting the urge to call you sweet....
Hope you feel better soon.
Owwwww!!! Hope you feel better soon!
eileen:
Okay, both you and Bec are exceptions to the rule. I find it difficult to relax with my fists clenched....
diesel:
Hey, that wasn't "sweet" - I needed my humour fix to help ease the pain!
attila:
Have once again overcome the tortuous results of a dental visit. I am simply amazing...
OK, so you of all people know how much I hate the dentist, but I just had to congratulate you on the most fabulous pic - too funny!
Love ya...
megan:
Thanks. It wasn't an easy shot for the dental assistant to take!
The x-rays suck. I always gag and feel like such a kid because I can't man up and get through simple dental x-rays.

You give new meaning to POV. Love the pic.
jr:
Took me awhile to find it. A waste of time? I think not.
(wish my teeth looked like that)
