WOW

My stance regarding graffiti?

Some of it’s good – some of it’s bad.

Some graffiti improves the look of a city with the addition of great art while other so-called artistic endeavors are just plain disturbing to look at. (Bad words!)

As for the above image?

Amazing. Wonderful.

The picture was taken along the embankment of the Don Valley Parkway in Toronto.

Just imagine the time and effort that went into this creation.

I am so impressed.

Added bonus. The word is taken from Mary Poppins - one of my favourite movies. One look at this picture and you start singing.

“Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!
Even though the sound of it is something quite atrocious….!!!"

Well, heck, I did.

That is awesome grafitti. I like the grafitti on railroad cars too, spruces up the otherwise drab and rusty steel boxes.

Yeah, I appreciate graffiti on railroad cars, too - especially when I'm stopped at a railway crossing.

Aren't they supposed to write graffiti in both English and French up there in Canada? I heard that from the movie Canadian Bacon.

I am sorry, but to me it looks amazing. I know it is illegal, but it does look like art. It would give me a huge smile going down that highway. I think the world needs more color, it is the negative and offensive stuff I can do without.
By the way, I have been singing Mary Poppin songs all night, ever since I read this. It makes me feel happy, in a goofy, laughing kind of way. No, I have not been smoking anything....oh, wait, that was yesterdays post.. Nevermind.....Have a great Thursday!

Nothing like a few songs from Mary Poppins to brighten your day! (No matter what...)

I'll make a call to the "Bilingual Police." It would interesting to see how Super califragilisticexpialidocious translates!

eileen:
I'll set you off for today with "Chim-chiminey, Chim-chiminey, Chim Chim Cheree..." (sp.?)
(No tokes necessary.)
