If you’re feeling stressed during the holiday season (I was fine this morning but experienced stress around noon) you can try one of two things — or both.
Listen to soothing Christmas music or Gnarls Barkley’s song “Crazy.”
I did the latter — in my car, full blast. It helped. I'm mellow now.

Nothin like cranking the tunes till you can't think anymore and the beat takes over your whole being.
No wonder teenagers love clubs and music, you get away from a ll the sh*t and pressure and zits, and you can do it in time with a ton of other folks...
Pack identity. yes?
oreneta - Hmm. "...away from all the sh*t and pressure...with a ton of other folks...pack identity." Does this remind you of blogging??
You are so right! Do we ever change, or just alter the way we fulfill the same needs?
oreneta - I think we change (sort of), retain some of the old needs, discover new ones (for sure) and, as you say, simply alter the way we fulfill those needs (via blogging?)
But, hey, music has always worked for me.
Hahahaha! I do that with that particular song all the time (and with Meredith Brooks' "B*tch"--go figure!) It really does make you feel better!
Attila - I'll have to try the "B*tch" tune. Sounds right up my alley - and the name of that alley would be "Crazy" "B*tch."
