Me. Schlepping. Christmas shopping.
I’ve done all the on-line shopping I possibly can. Time to join the hordes.
And this morning I am greeted with Toronto’s first snowfall. Coincidence? I think not. More like my bad luck. Yeah, it’s beautiful but now I have to haul out my boots, gloves, etc., scrape the snow off the car and drive amidst the crazies who fail to make allowances for snow on the road.
Bah-humbug.
Where is my Christmas spirit? I’ll keep you posted as to its arrival.

Awww..c'mon, lighten up! It's the first snow, honey! It's wonderful! And besides, that snow will melt in no time.
If it makes you feel any better, I'll be schlepping out shopping tomorrow...
Trish - Love the way your mind works. And if we don't get our cheques from The Globe (I'm waiting with bated breath...) we can sue them for plagerism.
Patricia - Okay, okay. You're right. Most of the snow melted (after I'd scraped the car) and what remains does look lovely. Good luck tomorrow. You'll need it. Brutal line-ups.
So apparently we had snow in Dallas before you got it in Toronto?! How weird is that? The temperature dropped Wednesday night by 40 degrees (F) in two hours and it was brutal even by northern standards. Snowed most of the day on Thursday. Gone by Friday afternoon - hundreds of car accidents.
As for Christmas shopping, you are a better woman than I am. I am not sure I am ready to face the crowds and the music. And if they have to play music, can't we have one real song for a change?
Lynn - Snow hit Dallas before TO? Uh-oh. Global warming...
Me a better woman? More like a desperate woman.
Let me know when you find it!! Mine seems to be missing as well! ;-)
"Attila" - Xmas spirit still elusive. See most recent post.
